On Saturday, August 28th, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in Dillon, Montana commemorating the Feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God. Fr. Russell Radoicich served the Festal Liturgy, following a Friday night Q&A and Vesperal service with students from the University of Montana.

This was the second Liturgy in Dillon in 4 months and was filled with excitement for the local faithful and visiting friends from Holy Trinity in Butte, as all hope to someday celebrate the same service in a local, Dillon parish.

Before the Liturgy began, Fr. Russell gave a helpful synopsis of the Faith and answered questions from students in a sociology class, taught by Professor John Xanthopoulos. In addition to his duties as a professor at U of M Western and the head of the equestrian team, John is faithfully spearheading the project of establishing an Orthodox Church in Dillon.
